A colleague of mine just sent a very interesting blog post of a Gen X’er discussing the state of Gen Y’s or “millennials”. I must say, I’ve felt much of the frustration that the blogger has felt and applaud them for their opinions. At the same time, many folks jumped on this blog about their generalization of an entire generation. The conflict went on for a few posts. Now, I also agree with some that we shouldn’t categorize. But the fact of the matter is that the folks who do fall under the steriotype are hurting those who don’t. The question is, rather than debating a very sensitive issue….what do we do to resolve it?
